  • Post 1-My relationship with Jesus

I know that Christians believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God, however, my schooling taught me that no one can be the son of God, because we were all made to be God's people.

So to me Jesus Christ is just a man, who spread the message of love and peace, however, he is not the son of God to me, but a remarkable man who got people to understand and listen to his ideas, which are similar to Judaism (follow these morals, love each other, and you can have peace). He even got the illiterate to now understand a new religion, and learn about morals. He's a remarkable man, but I don't worship him as a son of God, but as a man. There's a difference.

And shouldn't everyone want to love and have peace?

I hope this post doesn't anger anyone...

Next post: The idea of forgiveness (where Christians and Jewish people split on this idea &why...)

just so we're clear...i'm not offended, and i don't intend to offend. i'm not angry, and don't intend to anger.  etc, etc, and so forth. *grin* (king and i reference...maybe i'm too music-nerdy-ish)

how does our being God's people preclude Christ from being the son of God?
